The Forum’s developers have confirmed that Fasthosts will be the first business occupant of the office space in the regeneration scheme that is set to open later this year. Fasthosts plans to transfer 250 staff members into the 19,000 sq ft premises at No2 Cathedral Walk from its current sites elsewhere in Gloucester.

The Forum is a collaborative effort between
Gloucester City Council and Reef Group. Peter Langly-Smith, development director at Reef Group, said: "The vision behind The Forum was to attract fast-growth, innovative technology companies and we are pleased to see this vision realised in Fasthosts taking up space.

“Our drive to create a future-ready working environment with high-class facilities, coupled with our commitment to a highly sustainable building has been a real draw for companies moving to The Forum. There has already been overwhelming confidence demonstrated by other companies showing strong interest in the remaining workspaces.”

Set to open later this year, The Forum development will also feature shops, restaurants, and a Hotel Indigo, forming part of Gloucester’s broader £200m regeneration scheme which includes the University of Gloucestershire’s City Campus development on Kings Square.
