planning application for the 3.7 acre site in Kings Cross, adjacent to Tribeca, London’s largest purpose-built science and innovation campus.

The proposed scheme, known as Royal College Place, will deliver three state-of-the-art science and innovation buildings, 127 new homes, and three vibrant new public spaces – creating a dynamic new destination at the heart of London’s Knowledge Quarter.

At the centre of the development sits a striking atrium, designed as a hub for collaboration and exhibition, complemented by expansive roof terraces and double-height ground floor commercial units that will bring further energy and activity to the site. The scheme will deliver the most advanced science and innovation space in London, designed to support pioneering research and next-generation technologies.

Royal College Place builds on the significant momentum already established at Reef + Partners’ Tribeca scheme, strengthening the area’s growing ecosystem of researchers, innovators, educators and clinicians. Together, the developments will create a globally significant cluster of specialist buildings designed to forge collaboration, accelerate scientific discovery, support ambitious businesses, and drive innovation at scale.
A full planning application was submitted to London Borough of Camden in May 2026 with a planning decision expected to be made later in 2026.
